Our ministries

Working With Church and Community

Below is a list of our ministries both within the church and within the community:

Men’s Fellowship Group

The Men’s Fellowship Group offers a chance for the men of Holy Cross to gather for fellowship and service. Non-members are also welcome to join us. We gather at least once a month at local restaurants to share light-hearted banter or serious discussion with breakfast or lunch. We will occasionally  perform needed work or volunteer in church or the community, using the skills with which God has individually blessed us. Participation is voluntary.

Landscaping and gardening

This group of volunteers assists during the non-winter months with the appearance of church grounds. Volunteers design, clean, plant, and maintain the flower beds, herb gardens, shrubbery, and outdoor meditative space. If you have a green thumb or simpy enjoy God’s gift of nature, join us.

Visiting EMs

Visiting Eucharistic Ministers are licensed to visit those who are shut-in or hospitalized and provide prayer and communion.

Ladies’ Luncheon and Girl’s Night Out

We have two groups of ladies that meet for fellowship monthly. Our Luncheon group meets at Steve and Rocky’s on the second Friday of the month. Our Girl’s Night Out meet at various restaurants once a month on a Friday, depending on how many of us are around. We share good food and fun and strengthen the bonds of our community.
